Scott Roper, PE began his career in the electrical design field as an intern at MPS Engineering. He joined the MPS team full-time upon graduation from the University of South Florida in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Scott started out designing retail and restaurant chains and quickly moved to more complex projects such as senior housing, hotels, churches and libraries. He also has considerable experience in environmentally friendly green design. This includes Florida’s first LEED platinum municipal building along with Mote Marine’s LEED gold certified International Center for Coral Reef Research & Restoration in Summerland Key. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, scuba diving and spending time with family. Scott is constantly working on improving the efficiency and accuracy of our designs at MPS to give our clients the best buildings where cost isn’t an afterthought.
